Decorating with Wood Trees and Round Weavers December 19, 2017 14:27

Looking for a quick and easy way to spruce up your decor at the holidays, or any time of the year? We’ve got some suggestions to help you whip up something festive in no time!

 Wood Trees with Round Weavers

For this project, we used 1”, 2”, and 3” Round Weavers to make ornaments, using leftover bits and pieces of yarn and embroidery thread. Ornaments don’t have to be tied to a traditional holiday color scheme - decorate them however you like so you can use them all year!

Size 22 tapestry needle works for those small holes

For hanging, we used a size 22 tapestry needle to thread crewel thread through the warp holes on our Round Weavers. Another easy option is to use tape to attach the ornaments directly to the tree. This quick and easy project is a great way to use those leftover bits of fine yarn or embroidery thread from the projects you’ve made throughout the year!

Our display trees are laser cut in Houston with wood purchased from a local vendor. The trees and Round Weavers can be painted or stained, or left as-is for a natural look. The trees are available in three sizes:
Small 8"x 7 1/2"
Medium 12" x 11 1/2"
Large 18" x 17"

The Trees ship flat in two parts and are super easy to assemble. Here’s a step-by-step to show you:
