Loopy Cowl

This is a simple and forgiving pattern using knit stitches and yarn overs to create loops and expanded size.  It is knitted flat, like a scarf, and we joined the ends by sewing.  This pattern is complimentary with yarn purchase (see Rowan Lima yarn).

Notes: For any other yarn, make certain to use a needle size that is approximately twice the recommended needle size for that specific yarn. Using a much larger needle creates the large loops.

Yarn:  approximately 200 yards Rowan Lima

Needles:  US 16

Other Tools:  darning needle, scissors

Finished Size:  approximately 50" x 11" before joining the ends

Time Investment:  4-6 hours
